About:

Brandon Borden grew up in small towns across Wisconsin. Has always enjoyed the outdoors, sports, and dirt racing. Brandon got into Iracing in 2021. He instantly jumped into the dirt series and never looked back. Brandon has 118 starts in dirt officials with 7 wins, 48 top 5s, and 14 pole awards. He has finished 6th in the inaugural season of BCRL, and a 6th place finish in Flat Out Racing League as a part time driver. Brandon created BCRL for the drivers that couldnt join a leauge because of a jobs schedule or demands.

Questions and Answers


Q. Why did you choose the number you run

Ive been the number 11 all of my life. Its a superstition for me.

Q. From what you can remember, which was your most exciting BCRL race

probably not just one race, but when I realized how fast the league actually is. It made me very excited for the future.

Q. Favorite track and car to run at

any sprint car at Volusia

Q. As a whole (officials, leagues, hosted) how is your season going so far?

Happy with my official races. Have some work to do in BCRL and other leagues.

Q. Why is dirt racing better than asphalt racing. (If you believe it is)

The excitement! racing wheel to wheel sideways at high speeds!

Q. What got you into dirt track racing

I grew up down the road from two dirt tracks. The horsepower halfmile in Beaver Dam WI, and Beaver Dam Raceway which is a WoO track.

Q. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a driver

I think a strength of mine is knowing when to back off of a race and not cause a wreck. A weakness of mine is I never want to change my line.

Q. If there is one thing (or multiple) that you would change about BCRL or iRacing, what would it be?

All in all I am happy with were the BCRL is going. I would like to get dedicated admins and broadcasters. In Iracing i would like to have the hometrack style feel. Different restart lineups or even a choose cone would be cool like in High Limit. A dash would be cool too.
