The Pro Late Models would roll into Rossburg, Ohio to take on Eldora Speedway.
Whitlock would set quick time in qualifying with a 15.220 followed by Shepard, Matthews, Viar, Menees, Borden, Mansberger, Mcclellan and Bowes.
Following the invert Heat 1 would line up as follows: Bowes, Mansberger, Matthews, Menees, Whitlock. When the green flag flew Whitlock would lead the charge to the front followed by Menees, Matthews, Mansberger and Bowes.
Heat 2 would line up Mcclellan, Borden, Viar and Shepard. Shepard would thread the needle on the opening lap and jump to eagle lead bringing Viar with him followed by Mcclellan and Borden.
With the lineup set Whitlock and Shepard would lead the field to green. Shepard would hang it out on the high side and go on to lead the opening 15 laps. Whitlock wouldn’t take no for an answer and a slip up by Shepard would allow him to find the lead at the halfway point. Whitlock and Shepard would continue to battle it out for 5 laps before tire wear became a factor. Shepard learned the hard way to save tires as Whitlock would pull away and Matthews was coming hot. Matthews would get around Shepard with around 5 laps to go. He started gaining on the leader but ran out of time. Whitlock would go on to become the 3rd multi race winner this season in the late model series. Matthews and Shepard would round out the podium. Viar, Mcclellan, Menees, Borden, Bowes and Mansberger would finish 4th-9th respectively.

Shepard 2nd-3rd
Viar 4th-4th
Mcclellan 6th-5th
Menees 3rd-6th
Borden 8th-7th
Bowes 9th-8th
Mansberger 7th-9th
The Late Models will be back in action on 6/19/23 as they look to tackle Lanier Speedway.
