Blue Collar racing league pulled into Port Royal Speedway for a 25 lap show. To start the night Jacob Smith would qualify with quick time (17.766). The rest of the 7 drivers on Saturday all less then half of a second behind it looked like it could be anyone’s race to win. Heat 1 would see Alex Thompson win putting him on pole for the feature. Heat 2 Was won by Tracy Burns. The feature would see Kyle Vaughn, who has been strong all season, win another race. Following was Jacob Smith, Anthony Morano, Nick Klosterman, Alex Thompson, Tracy Burns, Michael Bowes, and Levi Whitlock.
The story of the season so far though is defending champion Nick Klosterman. Klosterman has proven he’s the guy you’re going to have to beat to be crowned the champion. He’s had some ups and downs throughout the season being collected in some wrecks. But that hasn’t slowed him down from his consistency which is why he’s earned the top spot on top of the Blue Collar Racing Leagues 305s.
